3.1 Purpose of data processing

 

We process personal data in principle to offer and deliver resp. procure products and services, for advertising and marketing (unless you object), to allow full access to our websites, to manage them, improve and further develop them, to analyze the use of our websites, as well as our offers, to detect, investigate and repel attacks on our websites and our infrastructure, to communicate with you and to be able to reject and assert legal claims.

 

These processing purposes are defined resp. supplemented in more detail in section 4.

 

3.2 Legal basis for data processing

 

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection legislation. For the rest - insofar as and provided that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable - we process personal data according to the following legal bases, which may take over as completion of the legal bases indicated in section 4:

§ Art. 6 para. 1 let. b GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data necessary for the execution of a contract with the data subject, as well as for the execution of related pre-contractual measures.

 

§ Art. 6 para. 1 let. c GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject under any applicable EU law or under any applicable law of an EEA state.

 

§ Art. 6 para. 1 let. d GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data necessary for the protection of the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person.

 

§ Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties, provided that the freedoms or fundamental rights and interests of the data subject do not prevail. In particular, legitimate interests include our corporate interest in the possibility of preparing, analyzing and further developing our websites, advertising and marketing, the sale of goods and the provision of services, information security, defense and the imposition of legal rights and compliance with Swiss law.

 

3.3 Transmission of personal data to third parties

 

As part of our business activities, as well as processing resp. of the purposes described in this data protection notice, where permissible, we will pass on personal data to third parties resp. we will disclose them to these third parties. 4. Data processing in relation to our websites

 

4.1 Provision and operation of websites

 

If you visit one of our websites, each time the website is consulted, a series of general information is transmitted from your browser to the website hosting server and stored in log files.

4.2 Newsletter

 

You can subscribe to free e-mail newsletters on our websites. We store and process the data that you record yourself in the input mask at the time of registration. You are prompted each time to enter all the necessary information. Without this requested information, we will not be able to send you the newsletter. To combat abuse, such as identity theft and spam in particular, we also store your IP address as well as the time and date of registration.

 

By registering, you give us your consent to the processing of the information you have registered for sending newsletters, as well as to analyze your usage behavior and to optimize the newsletter. Your consent constitutes a legal basis for the processing pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 let. a GDPR. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via a link contained therein. Your e-mail address will be deleted immediately by our newsletter distributor after unsubscribing.

 

We may use third party services in Switzerland and abroad to send the newsletter and pass on your personal data to these third parties for this purpose.

 

In part and to the extent permitted, our newsletters may contain graphics and / or links that record in relation to the person if, when and how often a single newsletter was opened in an e-mail application and which links were clicked. 4.3 Contact forms and making contact

The information generated by the cookies of this service provider is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. We personally do not have any access to this information and only receive information from the network analysis service provider regarding the use of our websites, without reference to individuals.

 

We use a Google IP anonymization feature. With this function, the IP address is shortened and thus anonymised before storage and subsequent processing by Google.

 

As described above (see section 4.6), you can prevent the installation of cookies by rejecting them or by setting your browser to do so. However, please note that in this case it is possible that you will not be able to use the full functionality of our websites. 4.7 Social media

 

On our websites we have placed links to various social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn

 

By clicking on such a social media link, you are connected to the website of the respective social media. There, the data protection provisions of the respective social media apply.

 

4.8 YouTube

 

To link the videos, we use the services of the service provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA ("YouTube"), a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, on our websites. CA 94053, USA ("Google"). In this way we can easily generate added value in terms of quality and content for our websites. This is our legitimate interest in processing pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR.

 

We use an advanced data protection mode of YouTube which, according to the instructions of the service provider, prevents the recording of usage behavior with cookies. We have also disabled tracking for advertising purposes.

4.9 Google Maps

 

We have included on our websites the online map service Google Maps of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). In this way we can easily generate added value in terms of quality and content for our websites. This is our legitimate interest in processing pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR.

 

By calling up an internet page in which the maps of Google Maps are inserted, the latter installs a cookie. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when the browser is closed, but only expires after a certain period of time, if you do not delete it manually first.

 

If you do not agree with this processing of your information, there is the possibility of deactivating the Google Maps service. To do this, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser; however, this may also affect other functions of our websites.
